According to Norfolk
County District Attorney’s Office, 46-year-old Brian Washle was
arrested for misleading the cops in her wife’s investigation.

“During the course of that
investigation, police developed cause to believe that her husband Brian Walshe
had committed the crime of misleading police investigators,” said police.

According to the
prosecutors, there was blood found in the Walshe house’s basem*nt along with a
knife which was damaged with blood on it.

Brian reported her wife’s missing three days after she left.
Police are now suspecting Brian to be behind his wife’s death. Brian was arrested
on January 9 after the police recovered some evidence along with a voicemail
sent by him to one of Ana’s friends. The voicemail was sent by Brian on Wednesday
which said, “Good
afternoon, this is Brian Walshe. I hope all is going well. I was just reaching
out to basically everybody I could. Ana hasn’t been in touch for a few days. If
you know anyone that may have had contact with her, you know I am trying to
call everyone. I am sorry to bother you. I am sure everything is fine.”

The amount
of cash required for getting bail for Brian Washle is $500K.

Brian
was an art swindler who pled guilty in 2021 to charges of federal fraud. He sold
two fake paintings of Andy Warhol to a buyer from South Korea on eBay. He committed
fraud of around $80,000. Brian was also facing other charges of wire fraud, and
illegitimate financial transactions amongst others.

Brian’s family friend Peter told the police that he last saw him
on January 5.

According to the reports, Brian’s wife Ana was supposed to go on a
work trip to Washington, D.C. on New Year’s Day but after the investigation, it
was discovered that Ana never took the flight to Washington.
