BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR)—Eggs Up Grill, an expanding breakfast, brunch, and lunch family-owned restaurant chain, will be opening a location in Blacksburg on Monday, Dec. 4.
The new location will be in the Gables Shopping Center on South Main Street and will be serving its full menu open to close, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. It has indoor space to sit 114 guests and the restaurant’s designed to make those with an appetite feel at home in a light, bright and cheery atmosphere.
“Right away, we loved the atmosphere and food at Eggs Up Grill and felt it was so inviting and down to Earth,” said Eggs Up Grill Owner Samantha Gilreath. “Come Monday, Blacksburg will finally have a breakfast spot where you can spend time with friends and family who are visiting, or just locals who want to gather over the best breakfast, brunch and lunch in town.”
In honor of the grand opening, Gilreath along with her husband Darren, will give the first 20 people freebreakfast for a year. The giveaway will be good for one meal each month until Dec. 2024. The Gilreath’s will also be donating a portion of the grand opening’s revenue to the Newport Masonic Lodge 261.
Eggs Up has locations across the East Coast including in the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and in parts of Virginia. Ranked as the No. 1 breakfast franchise byEntrepreneurMagazine’s Franchise 500 three years in a row, signature items include the founder’s recipe corned beef hash with potatoes, onions, and ‘special’ spices and their made to-go omelets. For lunch, Eggs Up is known for their burgers, melts, salads and more.
