Scandinavian-style Modern House Plan – Archistock 000-015
This Scandinavian-style Modern House Plan consists of a double story structure, a pool in the backyard, and a covered side yard patio. The main rooms are in the middle (the 2-story structure). Living room, dining, kitchen, storage, and laundry rooms are on the first floor, while bedrooms are on the second floor.
Concurrently, there are single story ‘annexes’ on both sides of the main rooms. One is a double garage annex with an outdoor patio behind it. There is also a guest suite or home office annex on the other side. Depending on your land shape and what you need, you could modify these 2 annexes as you see fit, in order to expand or reduce the footprint of the house.
This house design is suitable for a land with sizable landscape or nature at the back as the main view. The main living area and master bedroom have unblocked view facing the backyard. Meanwhile, the interior concept is mostly open and airy. We provide a spacious outdoor living area that is seamlessly connected to the main indoor living dining room. Also, there are two linear private balconies facing the front and back of the house on the second floor.
The Architectural Style
The principles of minimalism, simplicity, and functionality inspire our Scandinavian-style Modern House Plan. The design gives a contemporary modern touch with clear division of spaces and clean lines. It is characterized by a simple look, albeit with bold pitched roof accents and shapes.
Lighting is everything. Therefore, you will find floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows in the most important rooms that will maximize natural lights. The windows area also to endorse natural ventilation and seamless outdoor views at every turn.
Furthermore, the theme of material finishes is generally neutral-colored and warm to create cozy ambiance throughout the house. We use pale-colored brickworks, concrete finish, off-white painted walls, and wooden accents for both exterior and interior of the house.

Starter Kit Packages
A Starter Kit is a Schematic / Conceptual Set of the original design, in .PDF file format (non-vector files). The set includes floor plans, roof plan, 4-side elevations, and building sections of the original design (no design modifications) at a smaller scale (A3 or ANSI B paper size). House Plan Packages – Basic Plan Set (Original / Modified Design)
The blueprint / House Plan is available for purchase, either the original design or modified version. We can modify the architectural design and drawings to suit your needs. For example: reshape and resize the house so it can fit your land, rearrange the rooms and internal layout to fit your family needs and requirements, or modify the facade design, windows and roof.
The basic plan set is available in vector PDF and DWG/CAD formats and comes with the following items:
- Floor Plans
- Roof Plan
- 4-side Building Elevations
- Building Sections (min. 2)
- Exterior and/or Interior Rendering Images (min. 10 – 15 views)
- A Non-Exclusive Personal Single Use License
Additional drawings and other architectural design services are available if needed; e.g. additional drawings such as foundation plan, electrical plans, ceiling plans, site plan, etc.
Costs to build the house per square foot varies depending on several factors. Usually you can use our basic house plan or drawing set to obtain an initial cost estimate from a local builder in your city / country. Furthermore, if you buy our house plans, you can always customize the original design and plans to suit your preferences and budget (e.g. change the layout and square footage, modify door-window types and sizes, change some architectural material finishes, etc).
